A civil engineer and general contractor, Al graduated college in 1971 with the goal of becoming a GC.  He worked with the Dept. of Transportation for five years in numerous offices across the country.  In 1976 he earned his Professional Engineering Certification and in 1979 he earned his GC license and started his own company.  By 1990 he was one of only 175 remodelers in the nation to obtain the Certified Graduate Remodeler honor from the National Assoc. of Home Builders.  In 1997 his company was featured in Remodeling magazine as on of the top “movers and shakers” in the remodeling field.
